What's your mission ?

ATCcenter is  looking for a Bilingual (English/Spanish) Transcriber/Voice, Writer/Caption, Transcriber/Video and Editors to join our team.  These positions are Part time, full-time, flex positions and must be be filled by U.S. based workers. 

Bilingual and native in both English and Spanish.

Touch Type: a minimum of 45 words per minute (WPM) & you will be tested

 

Previous transcribing experience (stenographers accepted)

  • Knowledge of English & Spanish Language Grammar & Punctuation
  • Ability to work in a tight-deadline environment & must be an effective and efficient worker
  • Detail oriented and multitasking ability
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Proofing skills
  • Competency in Microsoft Office
  • Computer Saavy (Well above the average)
  • Internet research skills
  • Positive attitude, personable, self-motivated, and hardworking

Minimum level of Education: High School Diploma or GED.  B.A./B.S. degree preferred, but not required. Any other Foreign language fluency (especially written) a plus especially in the following language combinations (other languages are a plus as well, so please mention any foreign languages that you read, write, and speak): English/Spanish/French/German/Portuguese/Russian/Chinese/Japanese/Korean/Arabic)

             

Job Description:

Listening to and creating captions/subtitles for TV shows, movies, educational programs, corporate training videos and Christian-based/religious programming. At this time more English than Spanish.To increase daily output of transcriptions, you will be trained also to utilize our web based software. Transcribing video files (more English than Spanish) using a foot pedal (experienced stenographers also accepted) Editing already-written transcripts for punctuation, grammar, and accuracy (both in English and Spanish) Completing captioning and subtitling projects using captioning/subtitling software (no prior experience needed as you will be trained on how to use the software). Successfully completing all tasks according to daily deadlines

              

Using information technology: Microsoft Office, Internet, and captioning/subtitling software program

             

Pay: Starting at $12.00-$15.00/hr. Depends on experience and skill-set.  Pay increase opportunities based upon performance.
